Clitheroe Wolves Football Club is situated in the heart of Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley, providing a central and accessible location for our thriving community of young athletes.
Established in 1992, Clitheroe Wolves Junior Football Club initially comprised two teams at U10 and U12 levels. However, since then, we’ve flourished, now catering to over 700 boys and girls hailing from the Clitheroe vicinity.
Here at Clitheroe Wolves, we pride ourselves on being more than just a football club – we’re a community, a family, and a focal point for football enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Our club is committed to nurturing a passion for the beautiful game whilst forging enduring bonds within our locality.
In 2000, Clitheroe Wolves attained their Charter Standard award, emerging as pioneers in their locale. This accreditation, diligently upheld, currently sees us holding the esteemed Community Charter Standard award.
Presently, our club offers football opportunities for boys aged 5 to 18, as well as for girls from 5 years old to the adult level. Additionally, we’re dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where football talent can thrive and where friendships are forged that last a lifetime.
At Clitheroe Wolves, our ethos goes beyond the pitch. Moreover, we believe in instilling values of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship in our players, shaping them not just as athletes, but as well-rounded individuals ready to contribute positively to society.
Over the years, our club has become an integral part of the fabric of Clitheroe. Furthermore, our vibrant matches and community events bring people together from all walks of life. From the jubilant cheers on match days to the camaraderie shared at our social gatherings, the spirit of unity and togetherness is palpable within our club.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to our mission of providing accessible football opportunities for everyone in our community.
