Established in 1992, Clitheroe Wolves Junior Football Club emerged onto the scene with two teams competing at the U10 and U12 levels, plying their trade in the esteemed Accrington Boys League and the Burnley Youth League, respectively. Since its inception, the club has undergone significant expansion, now serving as a cornerstone for football development in Clitheroe and its environs.

Currently boasting a membership exceeding 700 boys and girls, Clitheroe Wolves has firmly entrenched itself as a focal point for football enthusiasts of all ages within the community. Our dedication to excellence and commitment to fostering talent have been duly recognised, with the attainment of the prestigious Charter Standard award in 2000, marking us as trailblazers within our region. Upholding this accolade remains a steadfast priority, with the club proudly holding the esteemed Community Charter Standard award.

Our presence extends beyond mere participation, with multiple teams representing Clitheroe Wolves in both the Accrington & District Junior Football League and the East Lancashire Football Alliance. Catering to a wide age range, from 5 to 18 for boys and 5 to adult level for girls, we offer a comprehensive footballing pathway designed to nurture talent and foster a lifelong love for the beautiful game.
